In Loving Memory of ...

This month I decided to write about my Uncles (Blacks and Chad). I used to pick on Blacks and get him all scared. Chad would just see me look at him and he'd trot away.

Me! Mom found him thin as skin and bones. He grew to be the most handsome one on the block. Yes, he knew it too. He walked lording it over us as though "to the manor borne I am".

His loud purr could be heard from the other room. In the evening he sit up on the couch and watch tv with GrandPaw. He just loved GrandMaw. Unfortunately, one evening he fell over ill and did not get well again.

He was very active, inquisitive (those big eyes missed nothing), and just a lot of fun. He was gentle with children, loved people in general, and even kind to other cats! That's how Bullet entered the household; Chad would not come in at night unless Bullet came in first.

When Me! Mom found him he was living on his own among GrandPaw's trucks. He had muscles. After awhile he got a tad fat; very content he was. Unfortunately, cancer quickly took him in his prime.
